Interessante intervista di Victory Toys a Threezero in cui svela diversi nuovi progetti :
last week Threezero invited us to their Mecha Festival event where they invited well-known artists and key figures in the mecha figure industry. Gladly to say, we got some of our collections signed by Shoji Kawamori sensei
We took the time to interview threezero CEO, who is very kind to share some of their plan for our beloved hobby. Below is our conversation with him.
VT: Kaiju series, when does preorder start and can you give us a sneak peak? (Godzilla &???)
Ken: Godzilla will be the first, teaser photos and PO will be around July 2024. We will make Kaiju from other series too, not only Godzilla. (VT note: we can see 2 characters planned for this year).
VT: Patlabor related, when will the vehicle start on preorder?
Ken: All Patlabor that you saw on Mecha Festival will start accepting PO in April and May 2024.
VT: Are you going to make Shin Nigo motorcycle the Cyclone 2.0?
Ken: At the moment, we don’t have any plan for it.
VT: Optimus Primal, is there a beast mode?
Ken: I am sorry to say, we have no near plan for Optimus Primal.
VT: Evangelion, will we see more of them, can you share us your plan?
Ken: Of course, we have a long plan for Evangelion, rest assured we have a long-term plan for this IP (Intellectual Property). We can share Evangelion 13 is next, we are developing the Evangelion from the TV series (VT note: you know what this mean for Eva 00).
VT: In our meeting last year, you hinted a Megazord will be coming, can we ask do you have any schedule for that?
Ken: We still have in in our plan, but it will not come anytime soon. We will give you an update if something comes up.
VT: How about Votoms or Tekkaman, Blastor Tekkaman perhaps?
Ken: Votoms we will develop more characters: Scopedog for example, where we have the prototype. For Blastor Takkaman, no plan for that.
VT: We saw you are getting more Anime IP, any plan for Dragon Ball (please yes), One Piece or the rarer IP like BT-X?
Ken: Yes, we are taking our anime IP very serious, and we will bring more IP Anime related as you see here (showing us the complete plan, PS: We saw many anime but unfortunately we can’t share it with you here  ). I am sorry to say Dragon Ball, One Piece, BTX we don’t have any plan.
VT: What about Ultraman, will you expand the universe to others? Mebius, Gaia, Dyna, etc?
Ken: (Smiling), you saw the documents right (Smiling again), you can tell the fans we have big plan for Ultraman.
VT: Can we tell the fans that Threezero is going to do Ultraman Tokusatsu (the old Ultraman)?
Ken: Yes, we will do them, starting with Tiga Multi Type.
VT: Will you continue the Kamen Rider for all Showa/Heisei period?
Ken: We love to, we are in constant discussion with the licensor (TOEI).
VT: Sentai series, will you do other such as Jetman, Dairanger, Goggle V, etc?
Ken: Yes, we have continuous plan for Sentai Rangers after Zeo, please stay tune we are unable to disclose yet what are the series.
VT: What about Megaman series? Zero and Megaman ZX maybe?
Ken: We have long term plan for Megaman, both the original Megaman and Megaman X. We will make all the main characters. (VT: we saw the plan guys, Megaman fans should be happy).
VT: Let’s go switch to other IP, these are what your fans asked: Warhammer, Zoids, Goggle V, Robocop. Any of these in your plan?
Ken: (Laughing), so many request. Honestly with the amount of IP we are doing now, even if we want to add more, there will be no time to do it all. We really need to pick the IP carefully 😊 Sorry to say all you mention above, we have no plan to do them.
VT: The fans are asking whether you will reissue the Getter Red and Black (the first Getter you made).
Ken: We will not reissue them again unfortunately, so people who owns them should treasure them.
